"Yes, if there is evidence that the VA ordered to market, the VA could also be charged as a participant based on Article 296 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code," said Trisakti University Criminal Expert Abdul Fickar Hadjar when contacted on Monday (14/1).
Article 296 reads, whoever whose livelihood or habit is intentionally conducting or facilitating obscene acts with another person is threatened with imprisonment for a maximum of one year and four months.
So, if the VA makes it easy for obscene acts with other people to be threatened with imprisonment for a maximum of one year and four months or a maximum fine of fifteen thousand rupiah. Fickar relates it to article 55 of the Criminal Code, which mentions people who do, who order to do, or take part in criminal acts.
