Sandiaga Begins 2019 with a Visit to the Sidoarjo Market

SURABAYAPAGI.com, Sidoarjo - Candidate for vice president (vice president) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno started in 2019 by visiting Pasar Larangan, Sidoarjo, Tuesday (1/1). Like other visits, Sandiaga received complaints from market traders.
Hearing the traders complaints, Sandi claimed to be accommodating all the aspirations and complaints of buyers and traders. "God willing, the complaints of Mrs. Kusnawiyah and Mrs. Novi increasingly spurred me and Pak Prabowo to work hard to be chosen to serve the Indonesian people. So, we reduce complaints of rising and expensive prices of basic commodities, "said Sandi.
General Chair of the Indonesian Market Traders Association (APPSI) Feri Juliantono said the reason for inviting Sandiaga. Feri explained that APPSI assessed that the former deputy governor of DKI Jakarta had concern for traditional markets, both during his term as chairman of APPSI and while serving as deputy governor of DKI Jakarta.
"We also invited the regent of Sidoarjo and his staff. Unfortunately, they have other needs," Feri said.
Before leaving, he also had time to buy crackers belonging to a Jamal cracker trader. He claimed the people’s purchasing power towards middle crackers was sluggish.
Sandi hopes that the market will continue to be a people’s economic center with affordable and stable prices. "Traditional markets must rise not squeezed and not squashed," he hoped. rk
